Position Summary: Advanced Exterior Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Business Development to join our growing Team. AES is seeking an experienced business development professional in the commercial exterior cladding industry who is driven to build relationships, identify new opportunities, and expand our presence within the market. Our Director of Business Development is primarily responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and strengthening relationships with owners, developers, and general contractors, and managing key accounts and strategic opportunities. This role will lead preconstruction sales efforts, develop sales forecasts and growth plans, and partner closely with our estimating and operations teams to drive opportunities from initial pursuit through project award.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategy for the market.
• Build relationships with owners, developers and general contractors.
• Manage key accounts and pursue strategic opportunities.
• Lead preconstruction sales efforts.
• Develop sales forecasts and growth plans.
• Coordinate with estimating and operations teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 years commercial drywall or exterior cladding.

Work Environment/Working Conditions

Employee will work in an office/field environment. The noise level is usually moderate but may be high when encountering field operations. Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Moderate physical activity requiring the handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four hours per day.
